Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) required.
• Licensed as an LCSW in Texas by BHEC.
• CPR Heartsaver certification required within 60 days of hire.
• SAMA certification (level 1-4) required before first clinical shift.

Responsibilities

• Complete psychosocial assessments to determine diagnosis and needs.
• Provide short-term therapy addressing behavioral health issues.
• Develop and implement a plan of care aligned with patient needs and risk.
• Identify crises and coordinate timely interventions with families.
• Educate patients and families to promote wellness and prevention.
• Coordinate referrals and link patients to community resources and services.
• Document counseling sessions thoroughly while maintaining confidentiality.
