RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) in New Brunswick, NJ to support registered nurses with hands-on patient care during night shifts. The role focuses on monitoring patients, taking vital signs, and assisting with daily activities.

You will document in the electronic health record, follow infection control protocols, and collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans. A high school diploma, BLS certification, and CNA experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Previous CNA experience or clinical nursing program preferred.
• 2 shifts per week, 11pm–7:30am, with every other weekend and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and provide nursing care to patients.
• Monitor vitals, EKGs, and assist with bedside care.
• Document patient information in EHR with confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to keep patients and staff safe.
• Communicate with patients, families, and clinicians to coordinate care.
• Support BLS and CPR during emergencies.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Support care plans from admission to discharge.
