Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and current BLS certification.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited program is preferred or a CNA certificate.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with basic nursing care, including bedside tasks.
• Monitor patient status with vitals, EKGs, and report changes to RNs.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Follow infection control policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Support care plans from admission to discharge and participate in teamwork.
