Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is hiring a Clinical Care Technician to support our nursing team at RWJUH Somerset. You will assist with daily patient needs, monitor vital signs, help with mobility, and support care plans established by Registered Nurses.

In this role, you will document patient information in the electronic health record, adhere to infection control protocols, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure safe, compassionate care around the clock.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred.
• CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, bedside care, mobility, and personal care.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and therapists to support care plans.
