Labcorp seeks an entry-level Technologist Trainee for our Burlington, NC location. You will perform routine and complex test procedures, monitor instrumentation, and ensure accurate reporting to support patient care. Training is provided for new grads; eligibility for benefits applies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science and familiarity with lab operations. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Understanding of laboratory operations and policies.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Proficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Prepare, test and evaluate reagents or controls; report accurate test results.
