Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA seeks a Registered Charge Nurse for Acute Care MedSurg on FT Nights (7pm–7am). You will direct daily unit activities, coordinate staffing, and act as a clinical resource across the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or Diploma; BSN preferred).
• Current Georgia RN license and BLS certification required; national cert in specialty preferred.
• One year nursing experience required; relief charge experience preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily unit activities on assigned shift to ensure safe patient care.
• Lead staff scheduling, unit patient flow, and clinical concerns with leadership support.
• Coordinate physician rounding and committee involvement; ensure survey readiness.
• Mentor and develop team members and foster interprofessional collaboration.
