Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking a CDL Switcher/Shuttle Driver for an evening shift (6:15pm–6:15am). You will shuttle merchandise between properties and handle occasional local backhauls as part of daily warehouse operations.

Required: CDL Class A, DOT Medical Card, Tank Vehicle Endorsement if applicable, High School diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of tractor-trailer driving experience; familiarity with DOT rules and operating material handling equipment is essential.

Qualifications

• DOT rules and regulations knowledge.
• Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer and straight body trucks safely to shipping/receiving docks.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and log records.
• Maintain dock area cleanliness and trailer/loads security.
• Assist in loading/unloading and product transfer between warehouse racks and trucks.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and report injuries or issues.
