Performance Food Group in Effingham, IL is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, all in compliance with DOT regulations.

You will work Sunday–Thursday nights on a 3rd shift, earning $30.60 per hour plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Day 1 benefits, growth opportunities, and a safety‑focused culture are offered.

Qualifications

• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Work a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to hand-lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects tractor/trailer.
• Drives and delivers trailers on predetermined routes.
• Keeps required route paperwork with load and dispatch.
• Performs hook/unhook procedures and parks trailers securely.
• Maintains clean work area and reports safety hazards.
