Job summary

Akumin Inc. seeks dependable CDL Class A drivers for local deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment in Sacramento. Night shifts with 2PM–6PM start and 12AM–4AM finish, 8–10 hour shifts, 4–5 days weekly. Training lasts 4–6 weeks; clean DOT record and ability to handle medical equipment are required.

Salary ranges from $27–$37 per hour, depending on experience and location, with paid training and comprehensive benefits including 401(k), health, vision, dental, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL-A license and DOT medical certification.
• Experience driving large tractor trailers.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractors with automatic transmission to and from client locations.
• Set up medical equipment at destination and tear down as needed.
• Unload or pack trailer; ensure equipment is secured and staged for patient care.
• Follow ICC and DOT regulations; maintain clean driving record and safety first.
