US Foods Austin is hiring a Backhaul Driver to join our nationwide delivery team. You will operate tractor-trailer routes, verify freight, and ensure safe, timely deliveries to vendors and drop-sites.

The role requires a valid CDL A, 21+, 6+ months trucking experience (3 months in food/beverage), ability to read English, and willingness to travel 2–3 times per week. Training is paid; benefits start Day 1.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per week.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Aufgaben

• Safely drive truck to vendors and company drop-off sites.
• Verify freight on truck, required trailer temperatures and accuracy of freight with vendors.
• Return tractor and trailer to division when route is completed.
• Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspection.
