Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington.
• Successful completion of a graduate nurse residency program orientation or six months' RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, guides, directs, and facilitates workflow on the unit.
• Make staff assignments reflecting patient acuity and care continuity.
• Mentors staff and integrates new/agency personnel.
• Functions as a leader and clinical resource for unit staff.
• Monitors nursing care and ensures safety and compliance.
• Maintains communication with bed placement and clinical resources for expedited placement.
