Job summary

Valley Medical Center & Clinics in Renton, WA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the CCU on the night shift. This 0.9 FTE role requires a licensed RN with strong critical care skills and a patient-centered approach to care.

The RN will provide leadership on the unit, collaborate with the care team, and ensure safe, high-quality nursing care for critically ill patients. A $20k sign-on incentive is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington.
• Successful completion of a graduate nurse residency or six months' RN experience.
• Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, guides, directs, and facilitates workflow on the unit and leads the charge nurse when needed.
• Makes staff assignments reflecting patient acuity and care continuity.
• Mentors staff and ensures unit adherence to policies and standards.
• Acts as clinical resource and ensures safe use of nursing equipment.
• Monitors nursing care and ensures timely patient rounds and documentation.
