Job summary

Valley Medical Center & Clinics in Renton, WA seeks a Registered Nurse - CCU on the night shift with a 0.9 FTE. The role requires strong leadership, clinical judgment, and the ability to manage a busy critical care unit to provide safe, high-quality patient care. BSN preferred; WA RN license current; BLS required.

The position offers a $20k sign-on incentive and a comprehensive benefits package. Nights, full-time at VMC Main Campus with duties including staff coordination and patient care

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington.
• Graduation from a graduate nurse residency program or six months’ RN experience.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Assess, guide, and direct workflow on the unit.
• Mentor staff and agency personnel regarding policies and standards.
• Integrate new staff into the unit culture and provide leadership on the shift.
• Monitor nursing care and patient rounds to ensure quality and safety.
• Coordinate with bed placement and clinical resources to expedite placement.
