Job summary

CrossReach is seeking a compassionate Night Care Worker to support residents during the night, ensuring safety and comfort. You will assist with personal care, wellbeing checks and timely handovers, maintaining dignity and independence.

We welcome candidates with care experience or a willingness to learn and achieve SVQ Level 3. PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration are required, along with eligibility to work in the UK. Induction and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is welcome but not required.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.
• Membership of PVG Scheme and SSSC registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and night‑time routines for residents.
• Perform wellbeing and safety checks throughout the night.
• Offer reassurance and emotional support as needed.
• Respond promptly to calls for assistance and document handovers.
• Support with mobility and positioning when required.
