Job summary

CrossReach is recruiting a Care Worker to support older people with dignity, independence and comfort in daily living. You will provide personal care, meals support and companionship, helping residents feel valued while following established care procedures.

We welcome experience but will provide training and development. The role requires PVG scheme membership and SSSC registration, with opportunities to grow within a long-standing Scottish social care provider.

Qualifications

• You will be kind, dependable and committed to helping others.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a care setting.
• Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living.
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage independence and individual choice.
• Help residents stay active and engaged in daily life.
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
• Work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures.
