Job summary

Rivertown Ridge in Grandville, MI is seeking a 3rd shift Resident Care Assistant to provide physical and psychosocial care to residents, promoting dignity and independence. The role reports to the shift supervisor and Wellness Director.

You will assist with activities of daily living, follow safety and infection-control procedures, and document services on company forms. Eligible candidates will have English proficiency, a state-approved certification, and a caring, team-oriented approach; daily

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Certification by state approved program, if required.
• Completion of RCA skills competency checklist.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Experience in Assisted Living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services to residents and assist wellness staff as needed.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, mobility).
• Maintain professional demeanor with residents and families.
• Observe changes in resident condition and report to supervisor.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety rules.
• Document provision of services on company forms.
• Escort residents and coordinate internal transportation.
