Job summary

Rivertown Ridge in Grandville, MI is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support evening programming for residents, about 12–18 hours per week, with occasional weekend shifts. This on-site role focuses on engaging activities and safe transportation of residents in the company vehicle.

You will collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director, help decorate for events, and participate in resident-centered programs while maintaining high standards of care and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with seniors.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Self-motivation with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Administers / Assists in activity programming from inception to execution.
• Follow established standards in duties per state regulations and company policy.
• Confidential documentation of identified resident needs and problems.
• Communicate with Life Enrichment Director resident feedback.
• Chauffer residents in the company vehicle for activities and church runs.
• Attend weekend, evening, and holiday functions when necessary.
• Assist in decorating the community for holidays and special events.
• Will participate in and support the resident-centered activity and life enrichment programs.
