Job summary

Education & Training Resources LLC seeks an Overnight Security Officer from 11:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. to maintain a safe environment for students, staff and visitors at the Montgomery campus.

Duties include patrols, enforcing policies, handling incidents, and documenting security matters in a timely, professional manner. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and may prefer six months of security experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Six months security or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• ADA accommodations may be provided where feasible.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus areas and monitor for disturbances and safety hazards.
• Conduct building and grounds checks to protect people and property.
• Enforce Center rules, access requirements, and parking regulations.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies using de-escalation techniques.
• Receive complaints and promptly report to supervisor with details.
• Prepare incident reports, logs, and other security documentation.
• Provide escorts and monitor access to designated areas.
• Operate security equipment and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
