Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Six months experience in security or related role preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus areas and monitor for disturbances, safety hazards, and unauthorized persons.
• Conduct building, grounds, and security checks to protect people and property.
• Enforce campus rules and procedures; manage access and parking regulations fairly.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; use de‑escalation techniques to maintain order.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and document security activities.
• Provide escorts and monitor restricted access areas as needed.
• Operate security equipment, including two‑way radios, and support fleet security tasks.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors while maintaining confidentiality.
