Job summary

KRE Security is seeking a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer to protect our college campus. You will patrol buildings and grounds, monitor cameras, assist students and staff, and respond calmly to incidents after dark.

Work schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM at our Reading, PA campuses. The role emphasizes reliability, professional conduct, and teamwork, with opportunities for advancement and benefits after probation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Dependable and punctual with reliable attendance.
• Ability to communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and designated zones.
• Check doors, access points, and facilities for security.
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and campus activity.
• Assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with questions or concerns.
• Respond to disturbances, safety concerns, or incidents after hours.
• Handle after-hours access and lockout situations.
• Document incidents and complete clear, accurate reports.
• Contact appropriate campus personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a calm, professional presence to help others.
