Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring for an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery on the night shift (7pm–7am). You’ll train to operate high-speed bindery equipment, set up cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders, and contribute to a fast-paced production team.

This full-time role offers overtime opportunities, shift differential, and comprehensive benefits after 30 days. Ideal applicants are mechanically inclined, able to read basic instructions and measurements, and committed to quality.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
• Take pride in doing quality work.
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.
• Print, bindery, or finishing experience is a plus.
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
