Job summary

Sheridan Ohio, part of the Sheridan Group, is hiring for an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery on the night shift in Ohio. You will learn to operate high-speed bindery equipment, keep machines running smoothly, and contribute to hitting daily production goals.

We value hands-on learners who are mechanically inclined, able to read instructions, and take pride in quality work. Overtime opportunities and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.).
Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.).
Take pride in doing quality work.
Show up reliably and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders).
Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace.
