Job summary

Sheridan Ohio is hiring for an Assistant Manufacturing Technician-Bindery on the night shift (7p–7a). You’ll learn to operate bindery machinery, set up cutters, folders, stitchers, and binders, with training provided.

You’ll work with a team to meet daily production goals, monitor quality, perform basic maintenance, and follow safety procedures on a fast-paced production floor. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and strong growth potential with benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret decimals and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
