Job summary

Centerstone is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for the night shift in Bradenton, FL. The role supports clients in daily living, monitors vital signs, and assists with nutrition and safety checks.

Responsibilities include performing drug screens, supervising activities, and mentoring new technicians. A high school diploma is required, with one year in mental health preferred; BLS/CNA/CPR or Crisis Training is welcomed, plus a Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in mental health/addictions facility preferred.
• BLS, CNA, CPR, or Crisis Training preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with safe driving record and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs (BP, resp, temp).
• Perform urine drug screens and report results to nursing.
• Assist and supervise clients in activities of daily living.
• Supervise clients' special nutritional needs.
• Provide social interaction opportunities for clients.
• Train newly hired Behavioral Technicians.
• Complete 15-minute safety checks.
• Inventory and document patient belongings.
