Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelors in Psychology or Social Work preferred.
• NCI certification and BLS training required.

Aufgaben

• Provides care to patients promoting safety, dignity and a positive therapeutic environment.
• Assists with admissions, including contraband searches and orienting patient to room.
• Assists with transfers and discharges, obtains vital signs and gathers belongings.
• Obtains and monitors vital signs, measures weight and reports abnormalities.
• Assists with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Assists with therapeutic holds, restraints and seclusion after NCI training.
• Assesses patients through play and group activities and reports findings.
• Participates in 15-minute rounding, video and constant observation as directed.
• Documents intake/output and graphs vital signs per protocol.
• Facilitates Therapeutic Community Meeting and Wrap-up.
• Participates in education and performance-improvement initiatives.
• Supports cost containment measures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
