Job summary

Wellstone in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Behavioral Tech for a part-time night shift (Sat/Sun, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM). Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Familiar with computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent 5-year driving record (must have a valid driver’s license).
• Certified in (or able to obtain) CPR, MAC, CPI.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the House Supervisor, supervise direct care of residents.
• Provide instruction, guidance, encouragement, and reinforcement to residents.
• Document residents’ progress in the Electronic Health Record in a timely manner.
• Coordinate resident activities in the home and community.
• Complete staff notes, incident and injury reports, and shift observations accurately.
