Job summary

Life Help is seeking an entry-level staff member for a Weekend/Holiday Night position to provide behavior management and basic patient care for adults with mental health needs. The role includes recording vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and supporting treatment plans within the facility.

You will document observations, participate in safety drills, and work under supervision to ensure respectful, confidential care and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Check and record consumer conditions such as vital signs and weight.
• Administer basic life saving techniques.
• Assist with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Document patient behavior, activity, and progress toward treatment goals.
• Direct and participate in recreational and social activities for consumers as per plans.
• Escort consumers to services outside the facility.
• Help maintain facility through limited cleaning and maintenance.
