CHS Career Site is seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. The role provides patient-centered care, coordinating nursing processes, medication administration, and family education.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN licensure required for State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred when available.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process and policies.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings clearly.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Engages in life-saving interventions and CPR/code team activities as needed.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, plans, and discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
• Documents care promptly; participates in audits and quality initiatives.
• Maintains regular attendance and adheres to all policies.
