Job summary

Pasadena Villa – The Grove in Locust Grove, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a graveyard shift in a residential behavioral health setting. The role involves assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a therapeutic environment.

The RN will document patient health status, transcribe physician orders, and coordinate with pharmacy and lab services.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in Virginia.
• Behavioral healthcare experience preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments identifying medical needs and limitations.
• Record and transcribe physician orders, and administer STAT orders as needed.
• Administer medications and injections according to physician orders.
• Coordinate pharmacy and laboratory orders, delivery, and refills with vendors.
• Maintain security of controlled medications and ensure accurate recording of usage.
• Document observations in nursing assessment and daily notes in Sunwave.
