Job summary

Pasadena Villa – The Grove in Locust Grove, VA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the graveyard shift. The role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, med administration, and coordination of healthcare services within a residential behavioral health setting.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program and a Virginia RN license; prior behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with RN license in Virginia.
• Experience in behavioral healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive nursing assessment identifying medical needs and plan of care.
• Transcribes and executes physician orders, including STAT orders.
• Coordinates pharmacy and laboratory orders, delivery, and refills.
• Administers medications and injections as prescribed.
• Documents nursing assessments and daily notes in electronic charting (Sunwave).
• Maintains control and security of medications; monitors usage.
