Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for TEMP NIGHTS on a full-time 13-week assignment. The fixed rate is $55 per hour with rotating weekends required. 13-week temporary, non-benefits eligible, direct hire opportunity; travel stipends are not provided.

At least one year of behavioral health experience and night availability are required. Current employees are not eligible for this temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license valid for the state or eligibility to practice.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience; behavioral health is a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required by state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications per orders and document administration.
• Ensure accurate transcription of physician orders and continuous patient status updates.
• Provide professional nursing care within regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Demonstrate therapeutic rapport while maintaining professional boundaries.
