Job summary

Acadia Healthcare and Geisinger Health have partnered to create a 96-bed behavioral health hospital in Danville, PA, seeking experienced RNs for TEMP NIGHTS at $65/hr. Full-time 3x12hr shifts (7P-7:30A) on a rotating weekend schedule.

This is a 13-week temporary assignment to support pediatric and adult inpatient care. Responsibilities include assessing needs, planning and delivering care, documenting records, and ensuring safety per the Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license as required by the state.
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral health a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs and coordinate care.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families.
• Administer medications and document controlled substances accurately.
• Ensure nursing treatment plans meet admitted patient needs and policy.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.
