Job summary

DFA in Town of Texas is hiring for a full-time production associate to batch and cook products, monitor ingredients, maintain clean work areas, and support sampling and lab processes.

The role requires attention to measurements, safety standards, and inventory accuracy. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM–4:00 AM with possible Saturdays; starting pay is $18.50 per hour, increasing to $23.66 after 90 days, plus a $0.50/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Clear written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be able to obtain a Forklift Operator License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adds ingredients to Liquifier for specific recipe and begins processing.
• Monitors ingredient amounts, mixing times, and safety specs.
• Inspects product and ingredients for defects and informs supervisor.
• Obtains samples and delivers to lab promptly.
• Maintains clean, organized work area; handles waste and debris.
• Reports issues and submits work orders as needed.
• Handles cleaning chemicals safely with PPE.
• Performs CIP sanitizing per procedures.
• Assists with salsa runs and tomato pumping tasks.
• Uses SAP/thin client to perform inventory transactions and traceability.
• Documents lots, quantities, times, and ingredients accurately.
• Follows GMPs and sanitation requirements.
• Performs Master Sanitation List tasks when not producing.
