Job summary

Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts in Virginia is seeking a Front of House Bar Supervisor to oversee nightly FOH operations on-site. The role includes ensuring opening procedures, bar readiness, POS operation, and serving drinks as needed, with a focus on guest satisfaction.

This on-site position requires 21+ years, prior management experience, and availability weeknights and weekends. Virginia Alcohol Server Training or ServSafe within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Must be able to work weeknights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must successfully complete a Virginia Alcohol Server Training, ServSafe Training or company approved equivalent course within 30 days of start date.
• Regularly required to walk, stoop, bend and reach with arms; lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Nightly oversight of all FOH operations.
• Ensure opening procedures are followed and the bar is ready to open as scheduled.
• Manage nightly staffing assignments and train staff on tasks.
• Ensure closing procedures are followed and bar reset, stocked, cleaned and sanitized.
• Operate POS and handle payments; assist with drinks as needed.
• Turnover of the bar for events; assist with patron QR ordering.
• Verify opening/closing banks and deposits; check customer satisfaction.
• Communicate food concerns to Chef and Kitchen staff; assist with inventory counts.
