Job summary

The Maven, a 172-key hotel in the Dairy Block of LODO, is part of Sage Hospitality Group. We’re seeking a Front Desk Clerk to greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, manage reservations, and maintain accurate cash handling and guest accounting records.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering inquiries, operating the PBX, and supporting nightly audit procedures to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. This role offers part-time benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Accounting background preferred, but not required.
• Strong telephone and guest-relations etiquette and skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in procedures using manual and computerized methods.
• Assist guests with reservations and inquiries and provide timely information.
• Operate PBX equipment, manage wake-up calls and paging for guests.
• Balance and close guest accounts and ensure proper cash handling procedures.
• Perform night audit procedures and ensure revenues are in balance nightly.
