Job summary

The Maven Hotel in Denver, part of Sage Hospitality Group, seeks a part-time Front Desk Clerk with strong cash handling and guest service skills. You will greet guests, manage check-ins/outs and assist with nightly audit procedures to ensure accuracy and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include balancing cash, posting room charges, and handling inquiries with professionalism. Previous accounting exposure is helpful, and the role offers part-time hours with hotel benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Accounting background preferred, but not required.
• Good numerical and computing skills for daily accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance and report on food & beverage outlets cash and credit operations.
• Audit, balance and report on front desk cash handling and room charges.
• Audit, balance and prepare room information and daily statistics reports.
• Balance and close bank ticket codes daily.
• Run night audit final to ensure revenues are balanced.
• Greet and check in guests using manual and computer methods.
• Assist with guest departures and close guest accounts.
• Maintain customer relations with timely, knowledgeable responses.
• Operate PBX to handle calls and wake-up services.
• Perform front desk clerk duties including express checkouts.
