HMP Properties, LLC is seeking a Night Auditor to verify guest accounts, balance departmental income, and post room, tax, and local charges. The role requires timely closing of day’s revenue, preparing reports, and ensuring voucher accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Read and interpret English documents; write routine reports in English.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Completely posting of all charges.
• Receives and records guest payments.
• Reconciles departments to X reading; retapes vouchers with dates and labels.
• Prepares revenue reports including all day rates.
• Posts room, tax, and local calls for the day; ensure room revenue balances.
• Completes D card with Z readings and explains adjustments.
• Generate and review high-balance guest ledger reports daily.
• Prepare Housekeeper's Report by 7 a.m. for the previous night.
• Reconcile Banquet Department using banquet bills.
• Prepare cash-only list for restaurant and lounge.
• Assign rooms to incoming guests; maintain walk-in reservations count.
• Adhere to courtesy rules for phone usage and guest interactions.
• Record wake-up calls and provide information to guests.
• Know policies for emergencies; ensure proper information flow to dept heads.
• Complete night audit at 7 a.m.; inform morning breakfast and meetings.
• Handle internal control items per hotel policies.
• Ensure reports and vouchers reach General Manager for review.
