Job summary

Chartwell Hospitality in Nashville is seeking a Night Auditor to manage overnight hotel accounting, auditing front desk and outlets, and ensuring accurate revenue. This role requires vigilance in daily balance processes and clear communication with operations teams.

You will provide management with performance data, balance transactions, and handle guest needs at the front desk, using attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Accounting background preferred but not required.
• Attention to detail and ability to compile facts and figures.
• Experience with cash handling and general office equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively over the phone and in person.
• Ability to lift luggage up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audit, balance, post and report on front desk, rooms, and all food and beverage outlets’ cash and credit operations and reset all registers to ensure accurate, timely function and optimal operations management.
• Provide rooms management with a clear picture of their performance using the data gathered.
• Run the night audit final, after ensuring all revenue is in balance.
• Attend to guest needs at the front desk.
