Job summary

The Night Auditor at Meyer Jabara Hotels, LLC is responsible for balancing the day’s transactions and safeguarding assets by following established policies. You will check guests in and out and handle guest payments, ensuring courteous service throughout the overnight shift.

Reporting to the General Manager, this non-exempt role supports smooth front office operations, prepares routine reports, and coordinates with other departments to meet guest needs during their stay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Previous customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to operate computer, Credit Card Authorization machine, projector, copier, scanner, and telephone.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other software programs.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Balance and balance bank for shifts.
• Log requests and confirm completion.
• Process payments and verify payment methods.
• Coordinate with front desk, housekeeping, and other departments.
• Provide information about the hotel and local area.
• Maintain security and privacy of guest information.
• Run reports and assist in end-of-shift tasks.
