Job summary

Staybridge Suites Savannah Historic District is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to manage overnight hotel operations from 11pm to 7am, ensuring accurate audit work and exceptional guest service. You will balance nightly revenue, assist guests at the Front Desk, and uphold safety procedures to maintain smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in hotel front desk roles, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in hotel front desk operations.
• Previous supervisory responsibility or Night Auditor experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree helpful.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles and proficiency with Windows operating systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle problem-solving and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Night Audit checklist and run reports for audit completion.
• Balance the day’s work and postings (revenue, postings, folios, paperwork).
• Ensure public areas are clean, locked and secure.
• Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, or inquiries at the Front Desk.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures per hotel standards.
• Complete daily direct bills and attach backup to bills.
• Distribute work and revenue printouts as directed.
• Deliver Express Check-Outs or arrange delivery if needed.
• Complete miscellaneous duties (POS resets, Watch List, revenue summaries).
• Other duties as assigned.
