Job summary

Cannery Pier Hotel and Spa in Astoria, Oregon, is seeking a Night Auditor for the overnight shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This part-time role includes balancing daily reports, assisting guests with late check-ins and early departures, and ensuring a smooth morning hand-off.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, prior hotel front desk or night audit experience, and comfort working independently overnight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or college coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience in hotel front desk or night audit strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently overnight
• Detail-oriented with strong math and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable and flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Handling late-night check-ins and early check-outs with warmth and professionalism
• Balancing daily accounts and performing audit tasks with accuracy
• Preparing and distributing daily financial and occupancy reports
• Posting room charges, payments, and resolving billing issues
• Maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff overnight
• Supporting guest requests and addressing any concerns with a problem‑solving mindset
• Collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless service delivery
• Taking initiative with any additional tasks from hotel leadership
