Job summary

ASH Hotels in Seattle operates Hotel Sorrento and seeks a Night Auditor to ensure the highest guest experience standards and accurate end-of-day reporting. The role is overnight (11PM–7AM), supporting Front Office duties, guest check-ins, and nightly reconciliations to maintain security and smooth operations.

The Night Auditor will collaborate with Front Desk, Valet and Management while maintaining professional service, updating daily reports, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• This is an overnight position; work hours around 11PM–7AM with weekday, holiday and weekend availability.
• Extend a warm welcome to arriving guests and bid farewell to departing guests.
• Assist guests with check-in; confirm reservations and billing details and fulfill requests per SOP.
• Park and retrieve vehicles, assist with luggage, and guide guests to rooms when needed.
• Assist with delivery of items and amenities to rooms and support the Valet team.
• Assist guests with checkout and settle bills, ensuring guest satisfaction and encouraging return visits.
• Execute End-of-Day functions; reconcile Front Desk postings, tickets, restaurant and banquet postings; batch transactions.
• Run and audit hotel and restaurant reports; compile sales data and enter into accounting software; produce daily flash report.
• Prepare reports for arriving/departing guests and audit reservations/folios for accuracy; notify other teams of special requests.
• Monitor interior and exterior cameras for security and safety.
• Restock back-office supplies and prepare morning lobby coffee service.
• Maintain communication with Front Office Manager and Guest Services Supervisor to improve SOPs.
• Demonstrate professionalism with guests, staff and managers.
• Keep lobby and work area clean and safe; maintain professional appearance.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, events and local happenings relevant to concierge and guest services.
• Support, maintain and participate in other duties as determined by manager.
