Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham/280 East-Eagle Point is seeking a Night Auditor for 3rd shift. You will check guests in and out cheerfully, ensure accuracy, and comply with brand standards. You’ll balance end-of-day cash and card transactions, close daily books, and hand over to the next shift.

You will verify reservations, manage the PMS, record sales, and maintain a clean lobby. Prior hotel front desk experience is a plus, and a willingness to learn the property management system is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk is preferred.
• Availability for 3rd shift.
• Must learn and be proficient in the Property Management System (PMS).

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out cheerfully while ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Process charges accurately and balance close-of-day procedures.
• Manage reservations and confirm status daily and for the future.
• Handle cash and card transactions per brand and company policy.
• Close daily books and credit card batches.
• Review daily sales for issues and alert the GM as needed.
• Enter sales and revenue data into the accounting system.
• Keep lobby area clean and organized; set up continental breakfast.
