Job summary

SpringHill Suites Dallas Rockwall is seeking a Night Auditor to conduct all nightly audit duties while delivering friendly guest service at the front desk. Responsibilities include balancing cash, daily paperwork, and shift reports, while assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries about hotel services.

Additional duties involve maintaining lobby areas, coordinating with other departments for smooth operations, and completing all required night audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Proactive approach to guest safety and creating a clean, friendly environment at the front desk.
• Count cash and maintain accuracy of the cash drawer at start and end of shift.
• Check the front desk log for issues, special requests, and important notes.
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests, process registrations and payments.
• Prepare express checkout folios and maintain room status inventory.
• Communicate shift information to Front Office Manager and staff for smooth transitions.
• Maintain lobby and bathrooms, assist with guest questions about services, dining, and directions.
• Complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
