Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Front Desk Agent for Sheraton Galleria Dallas. You will balance room, restaurant and bar daily, post charges, and support front desk operations.

You may also step in as a front desk agent during shifts while ensuring accurate registrations, guest satisfaction, and smooth nightly close-outs. The role requires strong English communication, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to handle cash and card transactions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting operations including AR/AP.
• Basic math and 10-key by touch.
• Ability to handle guest/employee concerns calmly.
• Able to input information using a moderately complex computer.
• Fluent English for speaking and writing; strong telephone etiquette.
• Hearing/vision to detect emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Balance room, restaurant and bar daily work.
• Post and balance charges and settlements.
• Maintain files and reset systems for next day operations.
• Work as a front desk agent during shift when needed.
• Prepare daily revenue reports; audit Micros tapes/journals.
• Run audit reports; correct discrepancies; fix computer issues.
• Balance revenue and settlements nightly; reset for next day.
• Greet customers with a friendly welcome and provide accurate info.
• Complete registration by inputting data; assign rooms; code keys.
• Verify credit cards, handle cash, and post charges.
• Answer phones in clear English and relay messages.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.
