Peachtree Group Hospitality Management is hiring a Night Auditor for a part-time overnight shift in Utah. The role focuses on completing nightly audit functions while delivering exceptional guest service at the front desk.

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure guest security and maintain a safe, clean, and friendly front desk environment.
• Count cash and maintain accuracy of the cash drawer at start and end of each shift.
• Check the front desk log for problems and special requests.
• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.
• Process guest registrations and collect payment.
• Prepare express checkout folios.
• Maintain accurate room status inventory.
• Communicate shift information to the Front Office Manager and other desk staff.
• Keep lobby and bathrooms clean and presentable as needed.
• Ensure smooth shift transitions by passing along information to the following shift.
• Collaborate with all hotel departments to deliver top-quality service.
• Answer guest inquiries about services, rooms, and local amenities; explain features.
• Complete all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

The Night Auditor (Part Time) is responsible for completing all nightly audit functions while delivering exceptional guest service at the hotel’s front desk. While performing audit duties, the Night Auditor also assists guests with check-ins and check-outs, processes reservations, and responds to guest inquiries, ensuring a high level of service throughout the overnight shift.

• Proactive thinking, keeping guest security always in mind, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.


• Responsible for counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.


• Check the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.


• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.


• Process guest registrations, including collecting payment.


• Prepare express checkout folios.


• Maintain room status inventory.


• Communicate all pertinent shift information to Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.


• Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed.


• Communicates all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.


• Works closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service.


• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions. Explains in-room and hotel features.


• Responsible for completing all required shift paperwork, and night audit reports daily.


• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
