Job summary

Carlisle Inn Sugarcreek in Sugarcreek, OH is seeking a part-time front desk team member to welcome guests, handle reservations, and protect property while delivering warm hospitality.

You’ll see a variety of duties from registering guests, posting charges, answering phones, and coordinating with other team members. On-the-job training and flexible schedules are provided to help you grow in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Proficient in basic math.

Responsibilities

• Accept and safeguard Inn keys.
• Secure exterior doors and monitor security cameras.
• Register guests and handle reservations; issue room keys.
• Prepare checkout reports and answer phone calls.
• Audit and balance revenue totals with reports.
• Post room charges and payments to ledgers.

What you’ll be doing

1. Accept and safeguard Inn keys
2. Secure all exterior doors, regulate security cameras, and monitor internal activity
3. Register guests, handle reservations, issue room keys, prepare checkout reports, answer phone calls, etc.
4. Oversee appropriate Emergency Protocol per company policy
5. Prepare and send reports
6. Audit and balance revenue totals with revenue reports
7. Post room charges, outstanding charges and credit card summaries to ledger account

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Previous customer service experience preferred
2. Experience in conflict resolution
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type
