Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. The role combines front desk responsibilities with nightly accounting duties to ensure accurate guest charges and daily financial posting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in accounting or night audit, with knowledge of PMS and a high school diploma or GED. This on-site position offers a collaborative, service-driven environment and opportunities for career growth within a diverse hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit daily guest ledger and posting room rates.
• Handle end-of-day accounting functions and guest folio charges.
• Average revenues across accounts receivable from F&B, room, and other departments.
• Serve as front desk clerk for check-in/out and reservations.
• Cash drops per cash handling procedures.
• Prepare Front Desk for morning shift and monitor lobby activity.
• Monitor security cameras and maintain lobby ambiance.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Audits the daily guestledger
• Handles all end-of-day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax
• Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios
• Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments
• Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues
• Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures
• Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift
• Monitors hotel security camerasystem
• Ensures that lobby is well-maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Any other duties asassigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole Knowledge of PMS High School Diploma/GED
