Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in Buffalo, NY is seeking a part-time Night Auditor to join our service-focused team. You will audit the daily guest ledger, post room rates and taxes, and ensure accuracy of guest folios while delivering friendly service.

Knowledge of PMS and at least 1 year in accounting or night auditing is required. We offer flexible shifts, Daily Pay, health and retirement options, and a supportive environment that values growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditor role.
• Knowledge of PMS.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily guest ledger.
• Post daily room rates and taxes.
• Ensure accuracy of charges to guest folios.
• Average revenues across accounts receivable from food, room and other departments.
• Front desk duties: check-in/check-out, reservations, guest issues.
• Make cash drops per cash handling procedures.
• Prepare Front Desk area for morning shift.
• Monitor hotel security cameras.
• Ensure lobby is well-maintained and properly lit.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Audits the daily guestledger

Handles all end-of-day accounting functions including posting daily room rates and roomtax

Ensures accuracy of all charges toguest folios

Averages sum of revenues of all accounts receivable from food, room andother departments

Acts as front desk clerk, checking guests in and out, bookingreservations and resolving guest issues

Make cash drops in accordance with proper cash handlingprocedures

Organize the Front Desk area so that the A.M. Front Desk staff can properly prepare for theirshift

Monitors hotel security camerasystem

Ensures that lobby is well-maintained, properly lit and with music at proper volume

Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Any other duties asassigned

Education and Experience

Minimum of 1 year in Accounting or Night Auditorrole

Knowledge of PMS

High School Diploma/GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Team player

Ability to exceed expectations of guests

Basic accounting/math skills
