Job summary

Hilton Milwaukee, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated full-time Night Auditor to join our downtown Milwaukee team. You will balance charges, reset systems for the next day’s operations, and provide exceptional guest service.

The role requires overnight availability, strong math skills, and prior night audit experience preferred. The property recently completed a major renovation and offers growth opportunities within Marcus Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand, follow, and communicate in English.
• Overnight and weekend availability required.
• Strong math and accounting fundamentals for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle front desk transactions.
• Balance charges and run audit reports.
• Process reservations and update guest records in the PMS.
• Provide professional, courteous service to guests.
• Monitor safety and upkeep of front desk area.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room status.
• Manage cash drawer and deposits according to policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

• Perform front desk responsibilities to include greeting guests, performing guest transactions, answering the telephone, processing individual reservations, balancing credit card and cash transactions, running audit reports, and taking accurate messages for guests and management.
• Perform data entry and guest transactions on front desk computer system, utilizing hotel PMS (Property Management System).
• Provide quality service for guests in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
• Take ownership of guest complaints and provides prompt solutions within scope of authority.
• Monitor front desk areas for safety, security, and appearance and reports any injuries, accidents or problems as necessary.
• Work with housekeeping and maintenance departments to assess room status for cleanliness, maintenance and any repair work.
• Responsible for accurate cash control to include keeping cash drawer and ensuring that all funds are accounted for and deposits made according to policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• Ability and willingness to work the overnight, 3rd shift
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous Night Audit experience is preferred
• Overnight and Weekend availability is required
• Ability to understand, follow, and effectively communicate both written & verbally in English.
• Thorough understanding of basic math and accounting skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions with little supervision and to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
